UX testing work with Sky at The Research Thing

June 2019, London

Threesixty Co-Founder, Filip Healy and Sky VR’s Alex Street gave a talk at the recent Research Thing event on ‘VR and Research’ hosted by Facebook at their London office.

The talk discusses a number of useful insights from our recent work with Sky on Hold the World, an interactive VR application featuring Sir David Attenborough, where users get to explore several rooms around the Natural History Museum and learn about exhibits by interacting with 3D models.

The talk covers some background about the approach to UX research taken at Sky and then shares some of the key findings from the research with real Oculus users. It outlines some of the UX considerations and how understanding user behaviour helped to optimise a number of key interactions in the VR experience.

We hope you enjoy it!
